Almaz made Aliya with her family from Ethiopia to Israel. She shares memories from her childhood in the village and tells the story of leaving everything to come to Israel – a new place on one hand, and a loved longed for homeland on the other hand. Her experiences are both a unique glimpse on the culture and history of the Jewry of Ethiopia, as well as childhood stories that every kid can relate to.
