One of the world’s most famous and recognizable monuments is the Titus Gate in Rome – its magnificent engravings depicting the Triumphant Roman legion returning to Rome with treasures plundered from the remains of the Second Holy Temple. Among those treasures the seven arm menorah of the Temple stands out in particular. In this menorah design, Israeli artist Orit Garder restores the holy artifact to its rightful place and adds a dove, the symbol of peace, as if to ensure that the past will not be repeated.
